New York Post cover of boy arrested for stealing $5.00

Young thundercats be wilding in the BX!
From the NY Post
"Most kids get a timeout or a spanking for bad behavior, but a 7-year-old Bronx boy was arrested and handcuffed to a police precinct wall for hours on a robbery rap, police sources said.
The mother of the pint-sized “perp” is threatening to sue the NYPD for $250 million — saying cops treated her son like a hardened criminal after he allegedly punched a 9-year-old boy in the face and took $5 from him, her lawyer and a police source said Tuesday.
Police arrested the child in his third-grade classroom at Public School 114 on Cromwell Ave., detained him at the school for four hours and then kept him in custody at the 44th Precinct for six hours after the December incident, the woman’s lawyer said in a statement Monday. He couldn’t be reached for further comment Tuesday.
A second police source who has direct knowledge of the incident said Tuesday that the little terror knocked the other boy to the ground, leaving the victim with a bloody mouth and fat lip.
The lawyer is calling the allegations against the 7-year-old false and says he has filed a notice of claim against the NYPD, the city and the South Bronx precinct.
“How would you feel if (the boy) was your child or your grandchild?” lawyer Jack Yankowitz said in a press release. “What happened is a travesty of justice.
“If (this) 7-year-old and his mother lived on 64th and Park and he attended a $35,000-a-year private school, do you think (he) would have been arrested, handcuffed to a wall and denied access to his mother and legal counsel for 10 hours?”
But an NYPD spokeswoman said Tuesday the boy was held for just four hours and 40 minutes."

Alberto Ramos gets picked up by Hoffman Bikes Flow and Alienation flow

Mira Mira Life
Hard work does pay off!  Minority team rider Alberto Ramos recently got picked up by Hoffman Bikes Flow and Alienation Bikes.  Alberto has been punchin in his fresh clock shredding the streets spots, skateparks, participating in local BMX shows and competing in jams the last few months, which has definitely worked out to his advantage.  Enos Colombo (Base Brooklyn) put the word in for Hoffman as well as Alienation vouching for Alblasto on what an incredible rider he is, which is true (I seen'um!)  They both hooked the boy boy up with a care package recently to give his whip a face lift.  Alberto was the first team rider we picked up almost 2 years ago and he never disappoints.  His style is bonkers, switch footed everything, we always knew he would do his thing in the bmx game sooner more than later.  Congratulations Alberto for the dope come up.  East coast is getting live again.

Ruben Clemente A-Town edit

Newhotness...

Here are a few clips Ruben Clemente from the Bronx slapped together from his local skatepark dubbed A-Town which is located on Allerton Ave. in White Plains.  For this edit being less than a minute long, you can see Ruben's lax'd, comfortable and creative style when he's shredding lite.  A slow leak cut the session short.  Still got some good clips in, X-Life. Peep dat!

Drew the Plumber gets T-boned by a car in the Bronx

Team rider Andrew Bassat aka Drew the Plumber got hit by a car earlier today.  He got t-boned at a intersection by a old lady on his way home in the Bronx.  The not so funny part in a funny way was that I called him as the paramedics were placing him on the stretcher and he still picked up to say he got hit.  He sent us this pic from the hospital about 20 minutes after, right before disappearing into the shadows.  I asked him if he was okay and if he was hurt in anyway, his response was "I eat those".  Drew is a beast.  We're  just happy he's safe.  Get well soon minority!

Cops crash into and kill man on dirt bike in Hunts Point, the Bronx

The driver is stiff, why is he handcuffed?  Doesn't he look dead?  NYPD really had a hard on for this collar.
How does the city except us to comply?

BX Chill Street Mix

Pablo Nuniez is on the disabled list right now with a [bruised toe?] but we wanted to keep his media onslaught rolling along so we dipped into the stash to let some fire out of the oven early.  Filmed earlier this year when it was CHILLy outside, also featuring Alberto Ramos taking his smooth style to the streets as well with some cameos of E-Man and Yoda thrown in for seasoning, E-man lent his skills behind the lens for a few of the second angles on this one.  All-in-all a nice little weekend filming mission just chillin but still hitting you with those man sized flat rails and juicy unknown spots.  Stay tuned to our channel for all your hood bmx needs!
